Tips works for the consumer! We are
an independent research and consulting firm. Using proven
scientific and academic methods, we study and then report
objective information and findings on toys that stimulate
developmental growth for children of various ages, skill
levels and special circumstances.
Our
results are based on studies and not positioned as "awards"
to manufacturers.These results provide consumers assistance
in making appropriate toy purchases for their children,
grandchildren or in selecting gifts for other's children.
Our
non-toy product reviews are tested for durability, ease
of use, sensibility and value to the consumer.
Toy
Tips has tested more than 34,000 toys and juvenile products
from 900 manufacturers since its inception in 1991.
Studies are conducted at The Toy Research Institute
and at over 500 Toy Tips test sites worldwide. We maintain
the highest standards and ethical testing measures to
ensure all results are based on real data. Our results
are not reflective of bias in any manner and all
products tested by Toy Tips® are not compensated
for research in any way.
Recommendations and results of the Toy Tips® studies
have been seen on "Good Morning America", Oprah, FOX,
and CNN. They have also been featured in the New York
Times, USA TODAY, Good Housekeeping, Parenting Magazine,
Parents Magazine, Ladies' Home Journal and in over 1800
local newspapers across the country. To date, over 20
million copies of Toy Tips® Magazine, summarizing
our research findings have been distributed at Toys
'R Us, Target, Jiffy Lube, Hilton Hotels and Childrens'
Hospitals in the US and Canada.
