Positive character skills should be enforced at the earliest age possible. These skills help us to form attitudes that we carry through life. Character toys can help parents instill these skills in their children. P.T. (short for Possibility Thinker) is a fabric 22'' doll that is a reminder to approach life with a positive attitude. It comes dressed in a sweatshirt, jeans and a pair of sneakers. Hand-stitched embroidery renders P.T.’s smiling face. Interchangeable and inspriational messages such as “I Love You” “Give Birth to Your Dream and Let it Live!”are embroidered onto the heart decorating P.T.’s sweatshirt. Each doll can be customized with cards and poetry. For children going through a tragic or stressful situation or illness, the doll exhibits a sense of a positive outlook. Playing with the doll with a parent allows for creative storytelling, role play and one-on-one parent-child interaction. If used for regular play, the doll can be used like any other.
NOTE: P.T. has been a dream in the making for 20 years. Creater Marlene Balbach was inspired to create P.T. shortly after being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis 20-plus years ago. While in the struggle to re-gain her mobility, Marlene was riding her stationary bicycle and reading a book about Possibility Thinking when she decided to put a face on Possibility Thinking by designing a character doll called P.T. She could use P.T. to encourage, motivate and inspire herself and her fellow MS patients. A portion of every sale from Possibility Thinker, Inc. is donated to MS and children’s nonprofits.
