Maternity pillows aid discomfort in the months that your belly is growing. A side sleep position allows for better circulation for both mom and baby. This pillow is an oversized U shape and can be used for bolstering the leg for relaxation to attain calm sleep. After pregnancy, the pillow actually can be disassembled into 3 seperate pillows with 2 large pillows that fit on a king-size bed and the curved pilow which can be used for nursing or reading to a child. Filled with synthetic down, the manufacturer claims they will remain dust-mite free for the life of the pillow. It did stand up to a triple wash test in the washer and dryer but needed to be refluffed after to maintain shape. Extra pillowcases are sold separately and are sized accordingly. Our testers found they did attain more comfortable sleep with use and all agreed that this pillow would be used post-maternity, unlike others we have seen.
NOTE: As with all pillows, these must be kept away from infants of any age to avoid suffocation. We do not recommend use for children without parental supervision for safety reasons.

Toy Tips to Parents: Time to Unplug

While tech toys are popular and some can be educational, the latest round of newcomers at Toy Fair makes it clear we're going too far into technology assisted play. It seems technology now permeates almost every kind of toy category on the toy shelves. Parents run the risk of stocking the playroom with items that undermine the important developmental aspects of childhood play.
